The 25-strong Karting Endurance entry – with a total of 75 drivers – is one of the exciting team events scheduled in the 2024 FIA Motorsport Games.
For teams of three drivers per nation of mixed gender, aged 15+ years old, all entries are racing identical FIA supplied 4-stroke karts.
The teams enjoyed four Free Practice sessions on Friday with every driver acclimatising themselves to the challenging Aspar layout. Team Hungary topped the opening session, before United Arab Emirates set the fastest time of the day in the next segment, whilst Team Belgium enjoyed their moment at the summit in Free Practice 3.
The final session was particularly competitive with Team Hungary bringing it home in P1, ahead of Team Spain and Team Belgium.
The serious business in this particular category takes place on Saturday with Qualifying at 10:15 and the four-hour endurance race from 14:30 that will decide the medals.
