KARTING SPRINT SR
Ruben Moya Lopez was the quickest driver from the two Karting Sprint Snr Qualifying Practice sessions as Team Spain enjoyed more success, whilst the other group was topped by Team Malta’s Jacob Micallef.
The third fastest time across the two sessions was clocked by Václav Procházka from Team Czechia as the grids were set for tomorrow’s heats in the category for drivers aged over 14.
KARTING SPRINT JR
Team Switzerland’s Chiara Bättig proved to be the class of the field in the Karting Sprint Jnr category for drivers aged 11-14, as he edged out Team Netherlands’ Mats Van Rooijen and Team Turkey’s Iskender Zülfikari in the faster second Qualifying Practice group at Aspar Circuit.
Jagrat Detroja topped the timesheets for Team India in the first group as he mastered the 1.448km layout, ahead of Team Spain’s Bosco Arias – the home nation enjoying a very successful first day of karting at the 2024 FIA Motorsport Games.
